Who do U want?

| If you want a serious relationship, you need to
avoid players. So, you met a guy, and he seems so "perfect";
you wonder why he hasn’t already been taken by some lucky women. Well, maybe he is a
"player". A guy who is a player is a guy who has made a choice, either
consciously or subconsciously, to not make a real commitment to a woman. Now, don’t
get me wrong, I am not condemning a lifestyle choice. What I am condemning is a guy who
acts like he is ready for a real relationship just so he can get into a woman’s
pants, and then dump her.
Now, in a way, a woman who lets this happen deserves it -- she is just getting
what she was stupid enough to let happen to her. But, on the other hand, there is no
excuse for a man to act like a SNAKE. The good thing from a woman’s
view point is that these types of guys are NOT hard to spot if she uses her head.
So, lets get started in learning how not to get used by the player when you
don’t want to be. First, look for the signs of a player (if there is a hyper link for
one of these, click on it for an explanation; I’ll be adding explanations for each):
 | A guy who is too perfect -- he is smooth, polished, makes a good living, drives a
great car, doesn’t get nervous when you ask the tough questions; he is good looking,
has nice clothes, and is in good shape; |
| Has been divorced or not in a serious relationship for years (although a really
good player will never tell you this); |
| Goes to bars by himself; |
| Doesn’t hardly ever answer the phone, but lets his voice mail pick it up; |
| Never gets a phone call when you are at his house or apartment (this is a trick
that a good player will know); |
| Has a nice, clean apartment, with matching furniture and silver ware and stuff; |
| Has a really comfortable, wide couch; |
| Only calls you for a date at the last minute; |
| NEVER looks at another women when you are with him; |
| Encourages you to drink; |
| Reads women’s magazines; |
| You don’t meet his friends and family; |
| (This one requires that you be brutally honest with yourself) He is a lot better
looking than you might think you could normally get. |
This is enough for now. But remember, just because a man has one or two of the
characteristics on this list DOES NOT mean he is a player; however, if he possesses every
one--I’d give you odds he is.
